Ann McCulliss Johnson
Ann is an Operation Iraq Freedom veteran with over 30 years of military social work experience and trauma-informed clinical practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Since retiring from the military in 2013 at the rank of Colonel, she has served the military and veteran communities of Northeast Florida, including serving as the Clinical Director for military support retreats for the nonprofit, Gratitude America.
Ann has served as an innovative behavioral healthcare leader, educator, and public speaker, with extensive clinical and professional experience in the fields of acquired professional trauma.
Ann resides in St Augustine, Florida, with her husband who is a retired U.S. Army veteran. She is the mother of three, one of whom is a U.S. Air Force OND (Afghanistan) veteran.
Ann has been passionate about establishing First Responder Project as an organization that meets the needs of those who selflessly sacrifice to answer the call of service in our communities.
