WHAT WE BELIEVE
The emotional, physical, and psychological wear-and-tear of our jobs is inevitable and sometimes brutal. Many of us don’t even have time to digest the impact of our experiences. We must reconcile how our work and personal lives can coexist, especially when exposure to incidents challenges our view of humanity.
We never really clock out of our jobs and have to figure out a way to forge on and decompress. We often don’t ask for help because of pride, workplace politics, and concerns about job security. Mandatory training only serves to remind us to hide the truth about how we deal with things.
That’s why we began – to ensure no one is without the support they deserve. We have lost more brothers and sisters to job-related stress than to deaths in the line of duty. We will not let each other and our families down.
We are committed to serving the first responder community by providing resources, outlets, and opportunities to improve the quality of life for those who are serving and have served.
